Ghita - La Montagna d’Oro

Ghita starts her journey into the music world in 2019 when she begins to hang around contact improvisation and ecstatic dance scenes. Later, collaborating with some conscious clubs in Amsterdam her initial interest for the electronic music brought her, in March 2020, to compose independently and recreationally her sets/mixtapes.
Her music imprint is mainly rich of oriental and tribal sounds with hints recalling her roots: south of  Italy folk chants and ancestral music rich of oniric and female features.

Ghita inizia il suo viaggio nel mondo della musica nel 2019 quando inizia a frequentare ambienti legati alla Contact Improvisation e all’Ecstatic Dance. Successivamente collabora con alcuni conscious club di Amsterdam e inizia a interessarsi di musica elettronica che la portano poi ,nel marzo 2020,  a comporre i suoi primi mixati in modo indipendente e amatoriale. 
Il suo imprinting musicale è prevalentemente ricco di suoni legati alla musica mediorientale e tribale con molte sfumature che ricordano le sue radici: canti popolari del sud italia e musiche ancestrali ricchi di connotati onirici e femminili.

Dejan aka N Λ T U R I T U is for us a musician with shamanic qualities. His positive intentions can be felt and heard in all his sets.
He manages to interweave ethno sounds with modern sounds in such a way that traditional and modern, sensitive and powerful harmonize perfectly.
Today at the new moon N Λ T U R R I T U accompanies us into the first phase of the moon cycle, a good moment to plant new things...... with the ideal soundtrack.

Echoes from N Λ T U R R I T U - MATERIA PRIMA. For me, music is synonymous with the first vibration born from silence. The first and most direct from the source of being. The first matter - the primordial matter - will determine everything we experience, know, think and know from that moment on. Depending on the use of alchemy, healing or destruction happens from here. To listen to music and especially to create a sound journey means for me to follow this thread, to find a way to the source of existence, to the primordial. To what everything in this world turns: to the omnipresent harmony. In addition, I would like to point out again and again that this happens in harmony. Harmony means to bring opposites together. Dissolving our thinking of opposites. Letting go of our differentiation of things, instead recognizing the connections and commonalities. ALL IS RELATED - according to Jeremy Narby in his lectures. This knowledge is as old as humanity itself. We are allowed to remember again what we are, what this planet is all about, how we live in peace and most importantly where we come from - just follow the sounds to silence.

Echoes from N Λ T U R R I T U - MATERIA PRIMA Für mich ist die Musik gleichbedeutend mit der ersten Schwingung, die aus der Stillegeboren wurde. Das erste und direkteste aus der Quelle des Seins. Die erste Materie - der Urstoff - wird von dem Zeitpunkt an alles bestimmen was wir erleben, kennen, denken und wissen. Je nach Verwendung von Alchemie geschieht von hier aus Heilung oder Zerstörung. Musik zu hören und vor allem eine Klangreise zu kreieren bedeutet für mich diesem roten Faden zu folgen, einen Weg zu finden bis hin zur Quelle der Existenz, bis zum Urspünglichen. Dorthin wonach sich alles auf dieser Welt dreht: zur allgegenwärtigen Eintracht.Darüber hinaus möchte ich immer wieder darauf hinweisen, dass dies in Harmonie geschiet. Harmonie bedeutet Gegensätze zusammenbringen. Unser Denken von Gegensätzen auflösen. Unsere Unterscheidung von Dingen loslassen, stattdessen die Zusammenhänge und Gemeinsamkeinten erkennen. ALL IS RELATED - so Jeremy Narby in seinen Vorträgen. Dieses Wissen ist so alt wie die Menschheit selbst. Wir dürfen uns wieder daran erinnern, was wir sind, worum es hier auf diesem Planeten geht, wie wir in Frieden leben und vor allem woher wir kommen - folge nur den Tönen bis zur Stille.

In these times of purification and great distraction from the outside, it has become even more important to look within, to recognize, nourish and live the peace and tranquility within oneself, to become strong as a tree, To strengthen the roots, but not to lose contact with the heaven

Much may be healed at these times, even if it means bringing up buried pain within oneself, looking at it and loving it. 

Breathe deeply, surrender to your own inner beauty and listen to your heart, listen to the sounds of life, awaken your joy of life and feel your grounding as well as the connection to the divine that is omnipresently looking at you. 

Recognize your power to let your inner space, your inner atmosphere blossom and grow beyond everything imaginable.

A norse gael blows, roots strong and deep, tall stands the oak tree, we sway until we sleep...

I began compiling music for this mix over 7 years ago. It started as a faint calling, to gather a mix of slow irish airy mysticism which had always haunted me. The more i listened, the more i realised i had only been scratching the surface. As the years went on it became a journey of rediscovery and a journey of coming home. Born and raised on the island of Ireland, I left eagerly when i was 21 never really feeling quite part of the culture growing up. Now some 15 years later i increasingly feel the urge to re-connect with this heritage i am so fortunate to have.
And upon travelling to Norway, i felt compelled to include music from the Nordic traditions also, feeling so at home in these lands and just as so with it's music. Thank you to all the wonderful musicians for keeping the fire burning. And thank you to these lands i love so well, harbours of hearts, eternal source of wonder... 

Home is in the mountains, our heart is by the sea,
and wherever those two shall meet, you will find us joyfully..

This is a mix of many of my favorite Afro Downtempo tracks, including several of my unreleased edits as well as some classics that I have been playing over the last 2-3 years. 

African music holds a special place in my heart. Whether it be Morocco, Mali, Angola, something inside be resonates with the frequency of rhythms and melodies, and most of all the voices. Without the need to understand what is being said I feel the spirit of so many of these artists in me. 

This mix is a journey through the deserts, jungles, and villages of Africa, featuring remixes and edits of many amazing classic artists such as, Rokia Traoré, Oumou Sangaré, Ali Farka Touré, Fatoumata Diawara, Sonah Jobartah and more. 

Most of popular music in North & South America as well as Europe can have its roots traced back to Africa. The vibrant and diverse cultures of mama Africa have spread around the world influencing cultures in many ways. 

Please take the time to listen to the original albums and music of these artists, they are a great inspiration to me and musicians all around the world.
