Premier reggae fusion label, Ranch Entertainment, Inc., launched worldwide in early 2011, further expanding this hot, new musical genre. With headquarters in both New York City and Jamaica, Ranch Entertainment is the brainchild of reggae artist Orville “Shaggy” Burrell. Sharing a common vision of expanding reggae fusion and furthering global appreciation of the genre, Burrell and his team formed Ranch Entertainment after departing Big Yard Music Group. The label’s name derives from ‘The Ranch,’ Burrell’s long-time recording studio in New York City, where all of his international blockbuster and Billboard chart-topping hits were conceived and created.

As the music industry continues to pose hurdles and challenges to the success of rising stars, the mission of Ranch Entertainment is to develop and facilitate innovative approaches for up and coming artists to excel in the current market. Ranch Entertainment also partners with established artists by providing them with access to opportunities outside their usual channels.

In addition to Shaggy, Ranch Entertainment’s world-renowned artist roster includes Rayvon and Red Fox.
