On a hot summer day in 1977, disc jockey Randi Martin put on her headphones, leaned into the microphone and spoke her way into Rock & Roll history as the first female DJ at WSHE, the legendary rock station in Miami, FL. Randi’s smokey voice, talent, and swagger made her the natural choice for a station with “She’s Only Rock & Roll” as their slogan.
 
Those tools kept her working in rock, classic rock, soft rock, and even talk stations for most of her radio career. Advertisers soon took note of her distinctive voice and began to hire her for voice-over work.
 
Randi honed her voice acting skills in summer stock theater as well as local and regional productions. She has trained with industry giants like Randy Thomas, Marice Tobias and Connie Zimet.
 
As a major market radio personality, Randi has won numerous awards and high ratings. She’s a two-time Marconi Award finalist for broadcast excellence and has won several Addy awards for commercial excellence. These accolades have brought her a diverse and influential client base from around the globe.
 
She has been the "VOICE" for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and has been recognized nationally for her efforts. Randi was invited to act as master of ceremonies at the home of Vice Presidents Gore and Cheney as well as the Library of Congress. She has also emceed major events on the grounds of the Washington Monument and the Orange Bowl in front of hundreds of thousands of people.
 
Randi walks the walk and talks the talk. Her vocal skills range from warm, conversational and sincere to snappy, sly and sarcastic. Many of her clients hire her simply for being a straight shooter and conveying that over the air.
