A new label, Digger, starts from Brazil with a focus on vinyl only releases. Originating from the Digger Shop in Curitiba they launch with a four tracker EP from rising producer Minority Retort. This summer an enormous release lands on the prolific Partisan label as tINI delivers her second solo EP this year a powerful and hypnotic trip from a pioneering artist who pours her passion into her music. tINI showcases a multitude of vibes, as she showcases an array of sounds which have inspired her musically whilst combining that with exactly the sound she plays; slick and stripped back productions with a commanding attitude.

Rumbling mechanical movements lead the way in the A1 “Tryagain”, nostalgic vocoder samples flashing in and out amongst the madness. “Consciousness” maintains the rave energy of its predecessor, bringing further tripped out peak time action to the EP, laced with tinges of acid. Built upon a killer elastic groove is the B side opener “Namastedit”, a vocal nodding towards 90s garage breathes life into the spaced out forward motion of the track. Dreamy pads sitting blissfully behind all of the action. With a certain spring in its step is the last of the EP, “Hello Hello”, driven by a sub heavy bass, utilising unforgettable keys giving off an infectious energy, in combination with the raw and rugged vibe of the track. 

This tINI release is highly  anticipated, and she proves why within this dynamic body of work; four amazing tracks that rock the floor! This is the “Derailed” EP.

On the B2, Cymatix co-founder Anah brings us track ‘Juno’ which features a vocal sample of a man fondly speaking about his furry friend. Cleverly manipulated vocal grooves, eery soundscapes and gliding bass melodies transport us into a scene straight from a sci-fi novel.
