 I love how the beats Randall drops often sound so organic. Like they're coming from actual instruments. Few DJ's I know of have that sort of vibe through out their sets. Only other one that comes to mind is Cattáneo. Randall is good.

Words from the artist: "I’ve never recorded such a long studio mix before and since we all can't play parties anymore, it felt good to do it. The mix reflects an all-night long set as I would play it right now, compressed into 3:33 hours. The evening starts with warm and smooth breakbeat tunes in the first half hour and are then followed by smooth deep house tracks. After that we go straight into the night with a wild ride between Progressive House and Melodic Techno. Besides some new stuff from myself I will also present upcoming releases from my label Radikon". 

BIO: Spirited emotion is the protagonist in Jonas Saalbach’s brand of electronic dance music. Deeply uplifting and body-moving, he has released eps and long players with Einmusika, Bedrock and his own imprint Radikon. Hailing from a small town in southern Germany, Jonas moved to Berlin at a young age to pursue the dream of bringing his musical vision to the world stage. A decade later, he has performed at hundreds of locations on five continents, the world-renowned Burning Man and Fusion festivals and a cliff in the Norwegian fjords for a sensational back to back Cercle performance with Einmusik broadcasted to millions of viewers. As a producer, Jonas is exceptionally prolific. For those who knew Phil K through his music will know he was a one-of-a-kind talent, a global dance music pioneer who promoted niche producers, and pushed the boundaries of electronic music through technology and raw skill. 

Those lucky enough to have had Phil in their personal life can attest that he was that rare kind of human, a man who approached everyone judgement-free, and with an open heart. He was also the type of person that treated everyone he met with love and respect, and, is if they were a good friend.
 
We were also privileged to have known Phil personally and also honoured to have him as part of the Balance Music family. Back in 2002, he compiled a release that for many is still one of the most significant entries into the Balance Series. It was a statement of the intense passion that Phil had for electronic music, and his ability to effortlessly connect dots between many shades of dance music. At the time no one fused genres like break-beats and house together, but that all changed with Phil K.

Even though it’s with great sadness that we share the news of Phil passing, the joy and the music he gave us will remain forever. 

As a tribute to the great man, we offer you Phil’s incredible Balance Series compilation album number 4 in its full glory.
