MIND THIEF is my first self-released EP under Hycastle. I started working on these tracks back in 2022 while I was deep in addiction, coping with complex grief and trauma. Happy to say I'm releasing it sober and empowered.

This isn’t a pretty EP. It’s sharp, chaotic, over-the-top and unbalanced. It's a reflection of the battles I fought with myself and the darkness I nearly lost my mind to.

Most of it was originally made under the influence, and it's been a huge pain in the ass to make these tracks even remotely listenable. Still, these tracks gave me power in some of my most difficult moments and kept pulling me back to finish and release them any way I could, even if they sounded harsh.

Working on this taught me the power of letting go, and letting music be raw and imperfect so I can move on to releasing more. Chasing some “perfect” standard isn’t the point. Music is power, and power is meant to be shared. It doesn't have to be perfect! Just free your music, please ❤️

I'm a Hardhouse / NRG, Techno and Trance producer, DJ, Producer and Engineer from York, Yorkshire.

Currently I've written for many record labels such as Vicious Circle Recordings, Toolbox Records, Stereodays, Tech - Fu, Oneway Records, Definition Records, Boxed Digital, Hardhitting Digital, Mad Cow Records, Encoded NRG and many more.

The material will consist of a mixture of Hardhouse. NRG, melodic tones and some damn weird sounds.
