Luke & I started this collab in Sydney at Turning Studios in between Stereosonic 2012 shows. We finished it for Ultra but were not quite happy with it then.

We finished last week with a battle of sessions sent through yousendit, arguing about the sound of the kick drum until the day before premiere.

When I opened my Tomorrowland set with it and saw 20k people punching the sky with their fist everytime the vocal says "blow", I had the feeling this was finally ready to be shared.

The Major Lazer vs Paff remix of ‘Stampede’ highlights the onslaught of the official remix package for the track which cemented Dimitri and Mike an incredible SIXTH Beatport #1 this year – preceded by ‘Ocarina’ (officially Belgium’s #1 single as we go to press), ‘Project T’, ‘Chattahoochee’, ‘Turn It Up’ and ‘Mammoth’.

Following hot on the heels of ‘Calling (Lose My Mind)’, the collaboration between label owner Sebastian Ingrosso and his protégé Alesso, Refune are welcoming another rising star of the house world to the label with the release of ‘Bong’ by Deniz Koyu. 

German producer Deniz Koyu had a stellar 2011, emerging as one of the forerunners in emerging house talent with his unique blend of tech and progressive house. The release of singles ‘Tung’ and ‘Hertz’ on Fedde Le Grand’s Flamingo Records as well as remixes for artists such as James Blunt and Kaskade quickly became anthems across clubs and festivals around the globe, marking him out as one to watch.
