Dark. Very dark. Probably the darkest track ever recorded by Random XS, originally released in 1993 on the 'Y.A.M.' EP (Djax-Up-Beats 176). The story behind this track is very personal and emotional. It was recorded live at home in one take. And although far from perfect, it was a reflection of that one specific moment, so it was decided to leave it exactly as it is. No edits, overdubs or other tricks. A second version was recorded later on, but it didn't come close to the intensity of this first take.

Short after its release on vinyl, German techno guru Sven Väth liked the track so much he invited Random XS to perform at his infamous 'Omen' club in Frankfurt. It was one of the very few times this track was performed live.

For this '2014 Fix' the tempo was made a steady 133⅓ BPM, making it easier for DJs to mix. A little bit of EQ-ing and maximizing was added. That's all.
