A WIP song about Catnap/Poppy playtime chapter 3

A spooky beat I made to experiment with some horror-like music. This was fun to test out, I’d like to polish this a bit more and make it even better! Leaving it as a WIP for now.

Fun fact, the rhythmic beats at the beginning are meant to resemble a heartbeat.

Sorry if some of the instruments suddenly get quiet, SoundTrap had an update and I think they changed their mixing features. So now everything gets weirdly quiet when other instruments come in. Now I gotta figure out how to fix that ARGHHH- I think some instruments may be off time as well, don’t know how that happened?? But this thing will DEFINITELY be better when It’s finished.

Some practice music! Mainly experimenting with drums and beats stuff here, I think the giggling I sampled is a biiit much? And I might change the title later on idk. I really like how this is coming along though :D

You can’t escape it. (WIP)

A little chiptune-y song I have in the works! I really love how it’s coming along :3 It’s oddly comforting to me. I think I actually wanna save it for an album or something, making an album with this kind of chiptune-like style would be SO much fun.

Sorry if it cuts off randomly at the end, I used BeepBox to make this and the way it exports audio always leaves this abrupt cut-off. Plus, it isn’t all the way finished lol.

Also probably going to change the title in the future, “Grass” is just a placeholder for now.

I'm really proud of how this turned out. I think the instrumental is pretty solid, all I have to do is add the vocals! :3

The original song is "In Fact" by "Gregory and the Hawk," though I did take some inspiration from the Carousel Remix of the song. I love that remix, and it's overall what made me want to do a cover of this song in the first place.

I think I probably need to go back and fix a lot of things. The vocals especially, some parts of it need work. Like that part towards the middle of the song at 2:10, it's oddly quiet and I could probably do better.

I also can't tell if I wanna completely retry making the instrumental. I feel like I focused a bit too much on trying to make it sound more like the original, and I can't tell if it sounds like I put enough of a twist on it. I think I did? It sounds pretty good to me.

I like how this came out! Especially the clock ticking bits. I might go back and try to add some kinda reversed audio sounding stuff, I think it would add to the theme for this song. I still need to add lyrics, hopefully I can manage making good vocals for this LOL

Not gonna lie, I'm SUPER proud of how this is coming along. There's one instrument at the end that's a biiiit louder than I want it to be, but that can always be fixed! :3

I still need a title, I just need to find a theme for the song and what it'd be about. After all, I would like to make lyrics for this. I've got a bit of a theme in mind, but we'll just have to see if I stick with it XD

I absolutely LOVE how this turned out. I'm proud of the result, and this is the first time I've recorded vocals that turned out GOOD. I can barley sing, but autotune does wonders omg-

I added a lot to the song (like new lyrics to add my own twist to this cover), though unfortunately after looking into it a little, I discovered I might have done an oopsie and may have to change things in the future. Since I'm not fully releasing this yet, it's just gonna stay like this for now. But when I start working on a video for this I'll have to see what I can do.

Edit: it's been a while since I made this, I don't think it sounds very femtanyl-y LOL- But it's definitely inspired by her work.

Had an idea for some lyrics, so I recorded an audio clip to mess around with musically. After experimenting with it, it very quickly started sounding like a Femtanyl song. So I was like "y'know what? I'm going with it." And now I have this XD

I thiiiink I did a good job of replicating Femtanyls sound while also keeping some of my own style in there? Idk. Can't wait to work on this more though! Personally I just really like it so far. Besides, making choppy, messed up sounding audio is actually quite fun HEHE

Edit: Done writing lyrics for this! Once this song is finished, I think it’s gonna be called “Zombiecide” >:3
