I had the chance to do a little session work with a great new alt/rock band from Mass, called "Living Means".

Mapex Saturn Pro kit.  Zildjian A custom cymbals.  Porkpie 13x7 hardrock maple snare.

No samples, very light editing (ie, no quantizing, but just slipping a few hesitations here and there)

Neve 1073, [Shure Beta 52] for kick and [Beta 52]snare
API 3123mb+ for overheads [Oktava mk02], bottom snare [sm57], and room mics [MXL ribbon].
Apollo Quad pre for toms [D2, D3]

Various UAD plugins, like LA2A, Pultec EQ, Neve33609, Fairchild 670, etc. to shape the sounds.
