JYNX with Most Wanted, a deep tech, minimal-driven roller built on weighty bass and slick vocal work. Mimi Moss follows with Sense, a darker, hypnotic trip built on lush pads and drifting synth lines. Niall Augustine makes his debut with Not This Time, a forward-thinking groove loaded with intricate sound design, heavy low-end, and twisted vocal chops that blur the line between house and the psychedelic. Rounding out the collection, CASTI drops DA BEAT, her most anticipated cut to date, a raw, vocal-heavy roller made for peak-time floors. Do you believe in conincidences?

I don’t - anymore. I used to believe in conincidences but I’ve learned that everything happens for a reason. And that everything in life happens for you, not to you.

So, I have been busying myself with the idea of an remix album of classic tracks of mine for quite some time. But I struggled with the selection of tracks and which remix artist to pair with which track.  Until certain people entered my life. Some of them I only „met“ through their music on social media and never in person, others I met briefly, like in a car to a festival and some I started to hang out with and they became real life friends. All of these people connect with my music and I feel drawn to their music and in many ways we insprire each other.  As a natural result this remix EP took shape and I am excited to present it to you. The record contains four remixes of tracks from my back catalogue that cover a period of 20 (!) years, from my early days on Bush in the mid 90s to my first label Spiel-Zeug Schallplatten in the 00`s up until now, where I run Electric Ballroom from Berlin. Over his short but glittering career so far, Claptone has delivered no less than four summer anthems to soundtrack Ibiza and the festival season. Claptone took inspiration from the post-punk melting pot of early 80’s NYC when he connected with the pioneering George Kranz who originally made the drums dance over 30 years ago. 

The result is a meeting of minds and rhythms, pure gold in the hands of headline DJs. Released in time to find its wings during Miami Music Week, Claptone casts the first rays of light upon you in order to conjure a long hot summer for all of us.
