The Stone Techno series continues. We are presenting the third release of this beautiful collaboration alongside with the Ruhr Museum Foundation and the Orthorhombic EP marks a special occasion. You may ask yourself why? Because the whole project can be also a door opener for talented artists such as our Stone Techno Challenge winner Emil Baghino from Paris, who has delivered the best track amongst more than 170 submissions.

On the other hand we have again some stellar artists on the bill. The four-tracker A-Side is reserved for not one but two fresh Berlin based duos: it starts with some tight-punching breaks by the one and only FJAAK and leads into the second track, a driven techno tool by Inhalt der Nacht & Tham, which definitely deserves the term "post-industrial machine music". On the B-Side the techno train stays on the rail with deep hypnotic vibes by Jamaica Suk and last but not least, a real-effective dance floor banger by Emil Baghino.

We hope you enjoy the tracks and be ready for the fourth and last release of the Stone Techno Series for this year.

Lake Haze returns to Photonz label "One Eyed Jacks" for the definitive launch of his "Aranhas" series, a run of releases themed around a fascination with spiders and gut-wrenching, rave-crushing dance music. Tracks such as "Rush Hour" premiered here(a sort of proto-aranha) and "Aranha Negra" are now available for the first time on vinyl, paired with the highly anticipated OEJ anthems "Aranha de Prata" and "Aranha Vermelha" - standout tracks in the sets of Photonz and Violet in recent months. It's not all about brute force here though; on top of his trademark slowed down gabba kick drums, Lake Haze lays some of the most emotional melodic lines you'll hear in a rave anytime soon, bringing true Lisbon melancholy to the fore in a truly unique way. Berlin-based techno duo Cassegrain has been making waves since they first appeared in 2010, most recently with the launch of their own label, Arcing Seas. For the young imprint's latest release, they enlisted the likes of Shifted and Peder Mannerfelt for a Cassegrain remix EP, but the biggest score of all was convincing rave and hardcore legend The Mover to come out of his self-imposed exile to rework "Trappist." The EP drops on April 28, but The Mover's brawny remix debuted on Red Bull Radio's First Floor, our weekly look at what's new in electronic music.
