'Moving through Sound' was a class at Taou Studio on January 6, 2023. Alexandra Cook led a restorative session of movement and breath work, while Matthew Dowdy mixed the sound environment. Remy Cuido performed a live projection of morphing liquid light fragments.

Mumbled echoes from the mist,
through the tunnels of revival.
The graininess interplay with a subdued mellifluence.

A haze of longing sighs and reverberations
threshold between the lane,
where distant voices yield to.

Each touch is a ballad in nocturnal parade, rays in slumber, yet the moonbeam in breast is still awake - whispered pledge enchained with insatiable thirst. Ecstatic symphony, where caress seems to echo in the passage of elysian heath.

'To Be Kept in the Body Eternal' enchants with pulse in elegance dance of eternal, bittersweet passion. Everlasting sonata venturing into woven figures of tender phantoms.

In the depths of the soul, the fire of feminine rage blazes, a tempest of passion echoes through the ages.

For the first recording of our residency, xenial co-founder @victoirevital selects 30 minutes of dubstep and grime, as a nod to flinta rage, reverberating through each melodie. 

To represent the power of these emotions, we were drawn to Marseille-based artist Julia Bonich’s fantastical visuals for the cursed princess 👑 

The set was originally recorded on Cashmere Radio, as part of the xenial takeover on March 23rd, 2024.

Where Hassell focused on creating ritual music of potential societies that _didn't_ exist; Ian Kim Judd seeks to evoke the notion of potential utopian societies that _could_ exist. In these times of global instability and uncertainty, Fifth World seeks to posit an alternative, with scenes from an optimistic future.
