There's two types of people in this world - one cares about skill, the other cares about winning.

Could never have predicted that the world would become illogical. If you've ever played an mmorpg you'd know that people cheat, they buy gold and use hacks to win. Social media turned the music industry into an mmo. What makes you think it will be any different?

I've had enough of seeing good music getting rejected because of a global focus on sound design or beatport standard mastering. These are things other people could get help on and you wouldn't even know.

If I use a preset I didn't even make you wouldn't know by just hearing the song. Other times I make a patch myself and people say nice preset selection.

How can you even judge a song by hearing it. There are so many ways to trick the listener.

Every day I don't see acceptance, I have a bad habit of interpreting it as rejection and that leads to nothing but depression.

Until you say "fuck the industry, i'll just make music for me to enjoy." Then it becomes fun again, and stupid meaningless internet statistics don't mean a thing.

much respect to zoar for this... remixed without needing any stems! that takes some serious skill to do.

Considering the original took 100 hours to make, there was so much compiling of audio that went on just to make it possible to edit without an alienware-grade cpu, that to create a stem-pack out of this song would prove to be a difficult task.

This remix has a unique style, atmospheric, dark retro electronica. The guitar solo is a magnificent rendering of true talent, and sets the foundation for understanding what else is possible from an artist of this caliber. Zoar is an extremely versatile producer who can deliver the latest styles at super high standards.

I thought of the words 'Parasitic Divinity' a few days ago, and thought it'd make a cool band name or something. Randomly spent 6 & a half hours making this, but couldn't remember the name so saved it as 'Misfit.wav'. Skyrim is life.

Music is all I really have. Nothing else. I lie, okay, I got family & friends too.

When I first joined soundcloud I used to produce under the brand 'ASTRO' (Always Selecting The Rebellious Option), but I scrapped the soundcloud page when it had about 3500 followers, because I was unhappy with an average of 35 likes per song, I felt like I was becoming a slave to statistics so I wanted to just start again. Also I was using a small robot as an avatar which came from the game Little Big Planet but I wouldn't be able to represent that if I were to play a live set, so I wanted a brand that was free of character based imagery.

I picked the brand 'Origami', which later became 'Xrigami' as that was a more unique google search term. I still have a bunch of music on soundcloud under that brand, although I don't use that brand anymore for new music.

Most recently I presented music with the brand 'Poledance Vampires', and the latest one I came up with was '36 Hours To Live'.

I've learned to make music in a lot of different genres... Hip Hop & RnB, then Progressive House, Electrohouse, Complextro, Dubstep, Drumstep, Big Room, Moombahcore, DnB, French House, Glitch-hop, Alternative Electronica, Breakbeat & Trap.

I'm inspired by the life of Van Gogh, because his art was respected after he died, so I'm able to make music even if I don't see it get the recognition I naively imagined when I started.
