been working on this song for a while now... slowly but surely it's coming together. experimented with doing it in different ways, but i think i finally have the right ideas.

just need to actually get it done.

in case anyone's curious, here's the structural layout for the next version.

~Trap beat intro with '2 hours 25 mins' glitchy break (zoar comment)

'cpu handle' halftime melody (no snare at start) - mix in 'bass music no bass' - filter topkick in gradually (consistent gain)

'cpu handle' halftime melody (with snare) - switch the bass to rhythmic version

buildup (with no kick)

take the triangle pluck arp that's currently in the 2nd drop and use it here

1st drop in same key as start (no snare at the start)

2nd drop (with snare) - same as first but with different interjections/turntablist goodies

2nd melodic section with keychange from 'cpu handle' (maj-min flip) - not repeated - cut it short for variation - no snare

'cpu handle' halftime melody (with snare) - add whoop - cut snare & [kick at end then roll it] into next section

Trap beat again but this time with the synths from the buildup

atmospheric soft ambient ending root note / implied chord progression from 'bass music no bass' - add strings - no drums~

i have connections who could help me make progress musically, but i can only work with them if i do gospel music

Music is all I really have. Nothing else. I lie, okay, I got family & friends too.

When I first joined soundcloud I used to produce under the brand 'ASTRO' (Always Selecting The Rebellious Option), but I scrapped the soundcloud page when it had about 3500 followers, because I was unhappy with an average of 35 likes per song, I felt like I was becoming a slave to statistics so I wanted to just start again. Also I was using a small robot as an avatar which came from the game Little Big Planet but I wouldn't be able to represent that if I were to play a live set, so I wanted a brand that was free of character based imagery.

I picked the brand 'Origami', which later became 'Xrigami' as that was a more unique google search term. I still have a bunch of music on soundcloud under that brand, although I don't use that brand anymore for new music.

Most recently I presented music with the brand 'Poledance Vampires', and the latest one I came up with was '36 Hours To Live'.

I've learned to make music in a lot of different genres... Hip Hop & RnB, then Progressive House, Electrohouse, Complextro, Dubstep, Drumstep, Big Room, Moombahcore, DnB, French House, Glitch-hop, Alternative Electronica, Breakbeat & Trap.

I'm inspired by the life of Van Gogh, because his art was respected after he died, so I'm able to make music even if I don't see it get the recognition I naively imagined when I started.
