WHO WOULDN’T FALL (EP)

Fresh off the release of a 4 song EP via GODMODE with her side project ALUM, Canadian singer-songwriter Joanie Wolkoff is following up her indie-acclaimed albums Talismans and Without Shame with the long-awaited release of her third delectable offering, "Who Wouldn't Fall."

Her collaborator on the 6 song album, John Cleary, is a New York producer and composer. Having scored over 100 short films, 20 video games and a feature length film project with legendary hip-hop producer DJ Premier, Cleary's music draws inspiration from Steve Reich and contemporaries like Morton Subotnich and Just Blaze.

The two joined forces on "Who Wouldn't Fall," a stripped down, standalone offering of introspective dance tracks shimmering with imagination.

Cohorts Wolkoff and producer, instrumentalist and painter Jonathan Campo’s fresh offering is a troublingly pretty Phil Spector-inspired single titled “This Town.” 
Brought to fruition during New York’s Covid lockdown, the song’s lyrics delve into the ups and downs of big city living, exclusion, inclusion and captivity.
