When I mix I love letting the music take me on a journey. Nothing planned, just inspiration from the tracks and how I am feeling in the moment.

As I was mixing this weekend I had an overwhelming feeling of nostalgia which lead me to mix Daybreak 3. Rain in LA reminds me of my roots in Vancouver. Saudade is like a warm blanket, wrapped in the dreamy and distinctive sounds of middle eastern instruments, soulful melodic house vocals and afro drum lines. 

To me, Daybreak 3 is bike rides around Burning Man as the sun starts to creep over the playa, adventures in Brazil with good friends, and lazy pandemic summer days in Portland.
