Australia's first Afro Reggae Roots Legend Randy Borquaye formed his world class African style Reggae band (Randy & JAH ROOTS) in 1979.  
Famed for their energetic and captivating live performances with contagious danceable rhythms Randy & Jah Roots have opened up the stage for some of the world's greatest musicians such as Peter Tosh, Tina Turner, Burning Spear, Toots and the Maytals and are still sure to entertain with there undiluted authentic afro reggae.  
Consisting of 7 members: Randy Borquaye (Australian pioneer of afro-reggae music originating from Ghana) -Vocals Guitar, Kora, Percussion, Geoff - Guitar and backing vocals, Nic Heraclides- Base Backing Vocals, Sammy Kicky- Drums Backing Vocal, Tungu Key Boards, Wayne- Saxophone Backing Vocals, Tony “Tok” Norris –Trumpet and Keys. 
Still going strong and maintaining their electrifying performance as their enigmatic stage show continually pushes boundaries within Roots Reggae music. Incorporating the most unique instruments such as (THE KORA) a West African harp from the family of bridge harps or harp-lutes. It's the highest developed string instrument of Africa, Blended with Afro Roots Reggae the audience is always sure to be impressed.
