The original Demo recording of Addicted to Your Love. Written and recorded late one night, around 2 am or so. Had to record as quietly as I could so I would not wake the rest of the house up.


Addicted To Your Love - Randy Corcoran

I had written the main riff to this and it was unfinished. My only attempt at prog rock. I got together with 2 friends I used to be in a band with, and they were looking for something new to play. I played for them the base part of the song, and they liked it, so we finished it in about an hour or two. This was a rough demo that we had intentions of finishing but never did. This was literally a recording with a cassette recorder in the middle of the amps and PA system. There was also a pretty bad thunderstorm when we were trying to record it, and an amp got smoked in the process. That is where the name came in. Everything was going against us and Steve on bass and guitar was getting fed up and said "I think it's a #$%^&*&^ sign." Fun recording, fun song. less than stellar performance.

I Think It's a Sign

This is what used to happen when I was alone late at night with keyboards and an effects unit. I love the beginning and the end, the middle gets a little boring. This was another one take demo as I could never find out how I did the end after this one take.
