Really like this one, excuse my English ignorance but is the English lyrical section a translation of the previous lyrics or in addition to?

Hank Jones Because I Love You

"É Preciso Perdoar" was written by Alcivando Luz and Carlos Coqueijo. João Gilberto recorded it and released it on his 1973 self-titled album known as the "white album" (he has another self-titled album from 1961).

I'm pretty sure he was the first one to record this song. I'm not sure if Alcivando and Coqueijo wrote it specifically for him. It is one of my favorite Gilberto recordings, and that's saying a lot.

This here is my homemade attempt at playing this beautiful number. I hope you dig it.
