Oceans is arguably the darkest song on the EP. It’s a slower paced, self-critical track of RaneRaps’ pouring out how much a former lover has blessed him, but he had his own ways of showing a lack of appreciation. “God sent you as a buoy, but I reached for a bottle. You jumped in for search &amp; rescue but I’m drowning the diver.” he raps as he realizes that only he can save himself from his own demons and no amount of love can be the difference maker in being his best and worst self if he doesn’t care enough to fight for change.
