TOLTECAYOTL (ART FOR LIVE)

Se llama toltequidad (en náhuatl, tōl-tēca-yō-tl, transcrito como toltecáyotl) es el conjunto de elementos culturales de lo que se dio en llamar Mesoamérica en el siglo XX.Es la recuperación de la filosofía precolombina, apoyados en el papel de Tollan y Quetzalcóatl en la mitología de Mesoamérica. Principalmente apelan a un texto de Miguel León Portilla, quien dice que la toltecáyotl fue un conocimiento que se extendió por toda Mesoamérica a partir de Teotihuacan. La toltecáyotl es, entonces, una reconstrucción de las tradiciones culturales que compartieron los pueblos del Anahuac náhuatl a partir de varias fuentes históricas, pero no se cuenta con un registro específico de ella ni consta la manera en que esta filosofía se traducía en la vida cotidiana de los antiguos nahuas. El primer diccionario de la lengua náhuatl, redactado en el siglo XVI por Fray Alonso de Molina, traduce el término tōltēcayōtl como 'arte para vivir'.

WR030: M. ITAL - Creation Seed / Lockdown Dub

Our next release is in the works and out for pre-order on Monday 28th December at 7pm CET (Shipping January). This one is is our first release out of the Ital Power Studio and another double AA side 12”, with 2 versions of Creation seed and 2 versions of Lockdown Dub on clear polyvinyl with screen printed sleeves.

Profits from this one will be going to SOS Team Kladusa. As it’s winter, we want to send solidarity funds again to people on the move who are forced into horrendous conditions and money is still massively needed in Kladuša. Along side a main beneficiary from each release we will now also plant trees in the Carpathian Mountains.
