I made this track out of my love for both songs. I uploaded it to DistroKid, who managed to get it onto all the major music platforms. After being live for a year, it had around 200,000 streams — over 114,000 on Spotify, 40,000+ on Amazon Music, and 30,000+ on YouTube, plus more across other outlets.

I was really disappointed when it was taken down. I didn’t create the track to make money from it. I didn't try and claim any royalties and I even emailed it to fans for free.
