Just Killed :Song for the sinned

A friend sent me a recording of some rapidly vanishing Australian birds with a challenge to make music. This fits so neatly with my continuing obsession with the sci-fi novel "The Vanished Birds" by Simon Jimenez that I could not resist that challenge.

OPEN THE BOX disquiet0560

This is the first track I've completed with Noxpox @noxpox-page10 ! I've wanted to work with other of his open collabs but never quite landed anything before now.

The original is an epic 12 and a half minutes long. I had so much fun with it that I just kept adding song sections and letting the synth melodies evolve as it moves along. My track is just 6 minutes. Still pretty long for me, and with a bit of a progressive song structure to it that evolves as it goes. Thanks for checking it out!
