Radio Man

I was 12 years old when the video game Deus Ex Machina was published. I must have played it maybe a couple years later, but still as an impressionable young man :-)

It was weird and awesome, a video game that came with a "real" music soundtrack on the same audio cassette. Incredibly fascinating to me, I remember it as a mystic experience.

This is my cover of "I Am Machine", first song from the game soundtrack, written by Mel Croucher, with the original (and amazing) vocals by Donna Bailey.

I hope my version does justice to the magic that this masterpiece of computing and entertainment history represents.

An amazing little piece of software, called Spleeter, was used to extract the vocals. The rest (beat, synths, and vocoder) was all done in Caustic. Plus a healthy dose of Korg iWaveStation for those extra-cheesy '90s sounds.

Another wonderful experience with @agnosturaelwar! Ingvar sent me some track a couple of months ago, and this one is just wonderful! 
It had guitar and mandolin mixed by Ingvar and I stated adding some bansuri flute, them some vocals and by the end of it I felt like some djemebe percussion! 
Just like the last time, lyrics are improvised, or even better said, words come with what the sound tells me! 
It's just amazing!

Two track recording, synth/key/piano/rhythm are live recording, guitar added afterwards.  The sound has a little rough/muddy color but might suit this track.
This would be typical an interplay between two movements with less compact sound.
