Disclaimer: there is a wonderful live recording, which, sadly, contains no clear (sub) bass - the mixer was to mighty for the cute little recorder. So i decided to record the beloved set again, as there are other live recordings of mine and i wanted to show the tracks and esp. the basslines i deeply love.

Schon in seinen Kindertagen begann der Kaiser zu musizieren. An Klavier, Schlagzeug, Bass, Gitarre und Gesang reiste er durch verschiedene Genres. Bis er seine Liebe zu Techno entwickelte.  
Melodisch, verträumt, verspielt, oder auch hart, dunkel und treibend. Kaiser versteht es meisterhaft, die Stimmung zu steigern und Menge zum Tanzen zu bringen.  Er kennt die perfekte Mischung und überrascht uns immer wieder mit seinen sorgfältig ausgewählten Tracks, die unsere Sinne in Ekstase versetzen. 
Aber Kaiser wäre nicht Kaiser, wenn er nicht immer wieder die härtere Gangart einlegen würde. Früher oder später entfesselt er in seinen Set´s seine musikalische Wucht, die mitreist, den Atem raubt und dem Publikum ein unvergessliches Erlebnis beschert. 
Mit seiner Leidenschaft, seiner Hingabe und seiner unerschütterlichen Willenskraft hat er bewiesen, dass keine physische Hürde ihn aufhalten kann.

Virtual Geisha’s debut is a sonic punch against apathy. After years of hypnotizing with emotionally charged DJ sets and visionary curatorship, she breaks through as a producer with a techno manifesto built to set the dancefloor on fire.

At its core pulses a searing monologue from Network (1976), as urgent now as it was four decades ago. Around it, Virtual Geisha builds a ritual of tension: hypnotic bongos, gritty textures, and a piano loop by Hania Derej, re-sampled and twisted into a melancholic vortex.

This is not escapist techno: it’s techno with teeth.
A groove that bites, demands movement and awareness, turning the floor into a space of resistance and catharsis.
