"An old soul..."
Is what Raphael Michael's mother would label him. A Hip-Hop and Spoken word artist. With an infatuation for Old School R&B, Soul, Jazz, and the Blues. Raphael is finding his unique niche; taking on a very creative, personal, and soulful approach to Hip-Hop. If you were to take 2 Pac's love for community empowerment, Kendrick Lamar's wit & wordplay, while throwing in a mix of a smooth soulful solo from Ray Charles. You will ultimately have the creation of Raphael Michael. Living in a domestic violent household has stripped Raphael's childhood away. His father was incarcerated on Christmas Eve when he was 12 years old. The charge still remains a mystery to him even till today. In addition to domestic violence, there was generational poverty. A choice out of his control but has helped him adapt to any environment out there. A unique skill to have when it comes down to rapping on an array of instrumentals. On and off Raphael has gone through homelessness. Longing to have what most people take for granted, their own bed. 
His vision is to help those who feel lonely, broken, lost and confused to find their own purpose in life.
