We interviewed the artist and filmmaker Raphael Reichl who is currently based in Mexico to talk about his video installation "Walking on sandy eggshells", which is part of the exhibition "Unfreezing the Scene. Kunsthalle Wien Prize 2022" at Kunsthalle Wien Karlsplatz. 

Looking at this work the viewer faces two screens — on one side biologists are burying turtle eggs on a beach to keep this vulnerable species alive and on the second screen a worker is building a holiday home under precarious conditions to attract international tourists. So at the same time nature has to retreat for tourists who visit this place primarily because of its beautiful landscapes and it’s special wildlife. Raphael’s work explores this paradoxical relation and takes a closer look at the precarious working conditions of all people involved in this process.

The Stereo Live Set happened on the 18th of December 2018 at Steinergasse 8. 
Containing Tapes and Tape Loops, Korg MS20, Delay Unit, Tremolo, Field Recordings, Ableton and a Radio which you cannot hear on the Main Output Recording of the Mixer as I used it as an external Speaker.

Am Ende Der Tage (Live Velak Gala) by Paul Ebhart

This is my set at Camp Cosmic 2019,  8 o’ clock when the sun came up. 
I think it was one of my all time favourites — the energy of the audience dancing & smiling in front of me was super beautiful and what Camp Cosmic means to me… One love!

The set is re-recorded from my blurred memory and 45 minutes of my phone grabbing the sound — the recorder disappeared into the fog, such as the rest of the set… But I tried my best to puzzle together what i played.
