Planting a seed is an LP from Rapha Farmer. It includes the first steps // tracks as producer. With the support of some good friends, this LP was created. Musically, the tracks are in the dub universe, with influences from sounds all over the world. Our Story it starts 'bout thousands ago
there came those "humans" and started the show
of wasting, destroying obeying them all
they left the world dying, pulled triggers, made calls.

They flay alive foxes divest them of their fur
covered in a strangers skin, a crime coat to wear.
Goliath kicked David, after telling him lies.
You left the dog whining, you devil in disguise.
You harpoon whales, leave them bleeding out,
while sea roars for its children since it cannot shout.

Those beauties with tails, feathers and paws,
their teeth misunderstood, hanging by threads only with claws
communicate singing and barking with sound,
that you may never listen your own voice too loud
are way more social, than your "civilisation"
they have their own kingdom of animalnation.
To next generations they're being a teacher
those aren't monsters, but intelligent creatures. -Niko Robin

Rapha Farmer produces stepper dub music with psychedelic elements, following a distinctive “plant-growing” style. He is a member of the Farmer Soundsoundsystem crew from Regensburg and is active in soundsystem culture as a selector, MC, and producer. He collaborates with artists worldwide on new music projects.
