From disco to techno, indie to Euro-pop, Mika connects the dots between genres with ease and joy. He’s not here to fit in — he’s here to shake things up.

This mix is your first official taste of pop at FunHouse, and it’s just the beginning. Expect euphoric hooks, dancefloor-friendly beats, and that unmistakable Mika sparkle.

The name Mika Akela is a playful anagram of “A.K.A. Maikel,” blending memories from his Scouting days (shoutout to Jungle Book’s Akela) with a personal tribute to the British pop icon Mika, who inspired Maikel to fully embrace his own sexuality. More than a name — it’s a statement.
