Cleveland is the project by Andrea Mancini, born in Luxembourg from an Italian family now based in Brussels. The project was started around 2012 and has ever since been releasing several releases on internationally renowned labels with the likes of John Talabot's Hivern Discs, Lovefinger's LA based ESP Institute and most recently Colino's Amsterdam based Kalahari Oyster Cult.

Mix #7 in the Don't Throw Stones series comes from Plantera, without doubt one of my favourite dj duos. Their ongoing Noods Radio residency is a deep, ethereal exploration of trancey bliss and thumpy tribal rhythms, while their take on the DTS series traverses an entirely new realm altogether. 

A celestial adventure through trip-hop, dub and funk, it's an absolute joy to get your ears around. So get involved, and stick it on your biggest speakers. It's a cracker from two of Cymru's finest.

Don't Throw Stones 007: Plantera

Hardly a newcomer, Amsterdam-based producer and DJ, @eversines, has been working on the scene’s periphery for more than a decade. As a co-organiser of Dutch label @delichting, he has truly immersed himself within music, garnering his own sound with a kinetic verve and dream-like quality.
In 2019, the artist saw his first debut release with @wexrecords, followed by a solo EP and an LP in collaboration with theremin player, @carolinaeyck, on @ye_yeh. More recently, he has teamed up with @kalaharioystercult to deliver ‘Plooi’.

In true Eversines form, Patterns of Perception 73 is a diverse compilation, comprised solely of the artist’s own music. Weaving his house-leaning productions with lucid, down-tempo beats, this mix conjures a longing for those beloved after hour moments, which for now, are safely guarded by our memories.
