Beautiful Mess

RAQUEL is making waves in her coastal city this summer with the digital release of her girl-power-pop EP, HIGHER GROUND. Born and raised in Del Mar, California, Raquel is more hands-on than the average performer when it comes to realizing her creative vision. The artist has been writing songs since grade school, and got her start with music production and recording engineering at the age of 12. After years of honing her craft, working on the other side of the glass so-to-speak, Raquel is finally ready to let her voice be heard: and not only that, but she is inspiring others to do the same. Pulling from personal experience, the songstress boldly advocates for victims and survivors of abuse, crediting her experience as her source of inspiration for Higher Ground. The EP is sure to uplift listeners with a message of strength and victory, and will likely yield a female anthem for summer 2016.
