They remind us this human body we have all been blessed with is actually not belonging to any of us, but is the Creator's (Akaal Purakh, Waheguru). This human body was given to us in order to merge back into Waheguru. To falsely think we are this body and to limit the true self to this concept is where the human lacks and loses out on spiritual development and enlightenment.

Once a Sikh begins to live in Guru Sahib Hukam - not seeing others as lower and not living in duality, they then can easily achieve salvation and merge back into Waheguru. When this duality dissolves, all that remains is oneness and its seen in all, everywhere.

Sant Baba Bhagwan Singh Ji (Rara Sahib Begowal) share a saakhi of when Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj were with Sangat in Darbar in Nanded. King Bahadur Shah (son of Aurungzeb)  came to Guru Sahib's charan at this darbar. In the sangat, he noticed a beautiful young woman (daughter of Jawahr Singh) who was around 16 years old. Bahadur Shah kept his gaze on her, as he was amazed at her beauty. 

In order to have more time in the sangat, so he can continue watching her, he asked some questions to Guru Sahib about the 5 navaj/muslim prayers. He continued to stare at the young woman - Guru Maharaj Ji being anterjaami knew what was playing out and where his mind was entangled. He didn't really have any interest in what Guru Maharaj Ji were telling him - he was thinking it would be so nice if Guru Ji would give me this young woman. He kept his gaze on her, his mind caught in vices and creating desires. Guru ji knew all that was playing out, they said to him go to your tent we will send this woman to you. He left right away. Guru ji spoke to the woman, they said: my daughter, go to him, take Bhai Daya Singh Ji with you and the watchmen servant of Bahadur Shah who is in sikhi saroop, but he stays here to share all that is happening in this darbar, take them both with you. She responded Pita Ji I don't understand your game here - you say to live a pure and truthful life but you are sending me to him. They said you are not alone, walk into the tent between the two men. Don't worry about anything you are my daughter, I will always protect you. 

Bahadur Shah was waiting in the tent. She entered in the tent between the two as Guru Ji said. Bahadur Shah could see 2 lions where the 2 men would be and she had her hand on each one's ears twisting them as if in control of the two lions walking toward him. The king was fearful of her now - if she's capable of doing this to 2 lions who knows what she will do to me. He told his sevadaar this lady coming towards me send her away I want nothing to do with her. They approached her, and she turned away in complete happiness and appreciation of Guru Sahib Ji's power, she paid her respects and thanked Guru Ji internally as she turned away. 

The 3 went back to Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj and fell at their feet she thanked them for their compassionate way of helping her and saving her - she was in awe of what lengths Guru Ji went to protect her from this evil-eyed man. Sant Baba Bhagwan Singh Ji remind us Guru Sahib Ji save us time and time again and they save us in the afterlife, if a sikh follows Guru's bachans. The first hukam is to take a step towards Guru Ji by attaining the blessing of Amrit. Nowadays a lot of excuses are made about going for amrit sanchaar, one of which is some say they'll do it after their kids are all married as there's a chance during weddings things can go wrong which will break rehit, meat is eaten etc. Sant Baba Bhagwan Singh Ji share this isn't fruitful thinking, if we follow Guru Ji's bachans everything one wishes for can be obtained so easily so why create an obstacle? Guru Maharaj Ji take care of us here in this world and they save us from the pains one may face in the afterlife too. This precious opportunity of the human life we have been given is wasted in the mind's ways, but Sant Baba Bhagwan Singh Ji tell us it is our job to get closer to Guru Ji as a Sikh and this way Guru Ji take on all our responsibilities. By this our life is fruitful and as per Gurbaani by living this way we can merge into Waheguru and obtain the ultimate blessing.

We learn of a powerful sakhi - Yogi Jeevan Das Ji, who were 500 years old, witnessed the celebrations and posed questions to Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji on what he saw regarding their sahibzaada.

Being born into a sikh family or taking on the sikh faith - it is our duty to live to the hukams of our Gurus. We are reminded of this as the root behind all that transpires in these sakhis shared in this clip. Sant Baba Bhagwan Singh Ji tell the sangat, if you haven't been blessed with amrit as of yet - this is the first hukam - to present yourself to your Guru at Amrit Sanchaar and receive the blessing. Then if we live by the hukams and by the example of our Guru Ji's jeevan - we can become one with them - no difference between a sikh and their Guru when the blessing is received where the two merge. We too can forever live in bliss and raise above all suffering - in a permanent state of bliss.
