This song was interrupted by a fight just in front of the stage involving my sister! That's mad when you're tripping balls! So much for the band playing on. It was a strange night. It seemed as if every freak in Basingstoke was there and there were at least three scuffles!

Recorded in 94 or 95 at I believe http://www.towerstudios.co.uk when they were in Wembley. (If it this indeed the same outfit).  This was my song, which I have recorded once since and plan to do an updated version of. Despite the fact that I'm not a great singer, when I wrote this, as far as the lyrics were concerned, this was my masterpiece that summed up all that I was feeling. The words hold true for me 20 years on.

Take It Or Leave It

A short lived band from 1994. Features our three track demo and a recording of our one and only gig which was a rather shambolic affair at Magnums (now the Bang Bar) in Basingstoke, before splitting up due to creative differences. Just before the gig, myself (http://soundcloud.com/Dan_Enson the guitarist) and the singer (Mike Page of http://soundcloud.com/StupidBand) were offered a load of magic mushrooms. By the time we came on stage, we were tripping balls which was a big mistake as we lacked the musical competence to carry it off. Overall, the gig is quite awful, but we all had fun despite the violence. Actually our mirth was probably enhanced by the violence! There's really no good reason to post this online other than the fact we can and it will ensure we don't lose it so that we will have something to laugh at when we're old because this website will last at least 500 years. This gig is posted without the knowledge or permission of the other band members (one of whom is now a cabinet minister). If they want me to take it down because it could damage their current careers, they'll have to pay me one million pounds!
