This song represents a turning point in my artistic journey. In this past year, my relationship with God has grown significantly and I have come to a clearer understanding of who I am. I've been through so many changes within this past year. I feel like I've been in a sort of cocoon stage; so enjoy this first release...live from the cocoon.

The EP will be out sometime in 2017.

"DROWN"

After a two year hiatus, the inspiration came from riding Chicago's Blue Line train while working on a project with classmates from UIC. While he rode, he imagined what it would be like to throw an extravagant party on with people of all backgrounds dancing and having fun. The bouncy, melodic Dougy produced track is an ode to Chicago’s beloved Blue Line train with a title paying homage to Black Sheep's legendary “The Choice Is Yours.” Rasaan's debut project is slated to drop sometime in the Fall. Enjoy!
