I made this mix with the idea of ​​leaving for a sound journey that can make you dance and go into a personal trance. The end of the mix sums up the post-party, that moment in which we need to rest our body and our mind. This mix is ​​a fragment of what will be of a closure to the limits of tribal, native music, where the final meditation gives you a sense of rebirth. I also took the Australian musical art very much to heart, also trying to understand the electronic music of the native aborigines of Australia. This mix starts from the sound idea conceived in Australia but with very clear references to European music, especially French music.

Dancing Sessions 01012025

The third offering in our mix series is a live recording of Priori and Cousin's dj set at Sustain Release 2024. Recorded on the last morning between 6am and 1pm on what was meant to be an ambient stage, it featured everything a 3 day festival closing set should. Eclectic picks, strange and emotional sounds, dubious transitions and a few feigned endings. Massive thanks to all the dancers, the Sustain staff (Aurora, Ash and everybody else who put their blood, sweat and tears into this), the music makers, the birds, the stars.

Fernando Sanz aka @orbeartist has been steadfastly dedicated to the craft of beats and breaks since he was a young sprout of 14 years in the sun baked southern Spanish port city of Algeciras. Under the imprint Orbe Records, Sanz has cultivated his own thriving techno community as artist and label head. Since 2014 Orbe Records has been lashing the block rocking techno of Sanz’s comrades Eduardo De La Calle and Steve Stoll, but mostly of Sanz’s own prolific moniker, Orbe. As DJ and producer Orbe keeps the mood surreal and dreamy while deploying understated drum machine patterns to hammer the platonic solids that keep his beloved community in tact.
