Fisher debuted “Ya Kidding” at the beginning of the Summer and it took a life of it’s own. It was perpetually in the top 10 for months, one of the most Shazamed tracks in Ibiza & UK through the festival season, took over multiple chart positions around the globe, and included an official video featuring an epic shoe-off, and became one of the biggest songs of 2017. 

With a track that strong as your first record, it was going to be a hard act to follow. Fortunately, Fisher’s sophomore release “Oi Oi” puts all those fears to rest. 

Leading off the EP is “Stop It”—the already infamous ‘roller coaster song’ that fans ask us about daily. The marriage of the track’s bassline and one sentence verse combine for an attention-grabbing single that raises the energy exponentially no matter where it’s played.

“Ya Didn’t” adds a funky bass bounce to a heavy synth stab, and a big buildup that cements Fisher’s reputation as a monster of the party.

ATL023 takes us to the southern Italian province of Caserta for further evidence of a thriving Campania music scene as we unleash the sound of Ivan Masa. Ivan lands on ATLANT after just featuring on one of our favourite labels, Monaberry.

Lead cut ‘Vocoder’ is bold in experimentation with it’s whirring electronic lines juxtaposed against piano chords, as a dystopian robotic voice enters. The nagging groove throughout really gets under your skin and draws you in without mercy.

Powered by deep bass pulses ‘Back To School’ takes proceedings firmly onto the dance-floor. With sumptuous and addictive synth lines, crisp punchy beats and killer breakdowns this track is made for a smoke filled room late into the night.

By contrast ‘Guitar Rock’ showcases the compositional side of Ivan’s sound across a journey of floating synth lines, ringing melodies and subtle percussive crashes.

‘Dario’s Trip’ closes the EP with Autobahn inspired electronics and pads, pitched against a driving melody that will last long in the memory after the final beats ride out.

With so much quality music to bring you now and throughout 2019 these are truly exciting times for ATLANT. We hope you feel the buzz too.


IVAN MASA

Born in Caserta Ivan Masa began his relationship with music at an early age, inheriting a strong passion from his parents. Ivan began experimenting and producing in June 2007, and has gone on to feature on labels like Suara and EIN2.

2018 saw Ivan step things up and take his music to another level, with releases on Kintar’s Sudam Recordings and Super Flu’s über cool imprint Monaberry. We are very pleased to now welcome Ivan Masa to the ATLANT family.

On this most momentous of occasions, Cape Town’s Kostakis now makes his label debut. Thanks to the friendship of talented countryman Ryan Murgatroyd, he appears in the annals of Get Physical, Voltaire and Variety Music. Like recent releases on KATTERMUKKE, Poesie Musik and more, “Xerxes” sees Kostakis once again prevail in solo capacities. Rose Ringed's third release. With three completely different tracks, Rose Ringed continues to explore different types of leftfield house and techno. The first track "Take Me Away" is a true peak time energy booster. Led by a straight four to the flour techno beat, a simple yet catchy hook and a vocal sample of Oceanic's "Insanity". The second track ("Energy") is a breakbeat emotive string-filled track which just makes you close your eyes and dance to the rhythm. The third and final track named "Sorry" is a somewhat more relaxed track with a very deep and long break, which makes the track convert to a euphoric piano house beat.
