This one is on fire. For Silky Session 04, we are honoured to welcome our friend Meilgaarden to the spotlight, confidently kicking off her session north of 130 beats per minute. 

The first time we met Meilgaarden was behind a pair of decks in Copenhagen a few years back. Now, she resides in Brooklyn, New York, where she is co-hosting an event label called Sound Gymnastics, hosting her own monthly radio shows for Family Style Radio in Brooklyn and Callshop Radio in Leipzig. She is also familiar face from behind the decks at The Lot Radio where she is airing out mixes in the intersection between house, acid, and trance.

Her sets always surprises as she provides many unexpected moments and stories inspired by rhythms from every place she’s lived in; Barcelona, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Hong Kong, and New York.   

In her Silky Session, Meilgaarden sophistically takes us through a high-energy journey, cuing banger after banger influenced by the 1990’s rave scene. Strap yourself for a full-blown hour of rowdy techno, cosmic house and trance. Who knows where this will end…
