'COLLAB' is a new collaborative project of Bruno Sanfilippo with kindred artists. 
On COLLAB 1, Aukai (Markus Sieber)displays all his wonderful sensitivity through his acoustic guitar and ronroco to melt into Bruno's electronic weave. Its impact is imaginative and cinematic, from its textural strings to its colorful electronic sequences, every element seems perfectly placed. It finishes the guitar in solitude as announcing the end of an accomplished day.

Fact Mix 913: Liyo (Jun '23)

My entry for the 2024 Soundtrack Competition by ADAM Audio. 

 I made a bed of ambience, footsteps and a muffled pad (consisting of "Lekko" and "Jasno" chords by felt instruments), representing the outside. The inside of the helmet (also the inside of the protagonist's mind, I guess) is represented with bleep SFX, short melodic phrases by the piano (Lekko as well) and an arpeggiated pulsating synth (Ableton's stock instrument "Operator" – as are all synths in this project. 
The lead instrument is a heavily distorted, yet melancholic sound that I added to give the static image some live, some story, some meaning. It represents my feeling of a cold, artificial, futuristic scenario, but is open to interpretation. Apart from "Operator", I used Ableton's "Corpus" effect and "Digitalis" by AberrantDSP to design this sound. 
For mixing, I mainly used Fabfilter plugins (Pro-Q3, Pro-C, Pro-MB) as well as "Decapitator" by soundtoys and "S1 Imager" by Waves. I used Ozone on the Master bus for a quick and dirty master. 
It was fun to write a little soundtrack for a non-moving picture for a change :D
