Fin dall'epoca del rock-steady iniziarono ad uscire, in Giamaica, sul lato B dei 45 giri le versioni
strumentali dei brani registrati sulla facciata A. Negli studi di registrazione la parte strumentale
veniva riarrangiata completamente: il ritmo rallentava, gli strumenti melodici (tastiere e fiati)
affioravano soltanto, in un tappeto sonoro dove il basso e la batteria facevano da padroni. La
musica così creata prese il nome di dub, da double (nel senso di doppia versione di uno stesso
brano).
The Dub Club utilizza la stessa formula; la prima metà del disco è in puro stile RasteR, con brani
arrangiati con strofe e ritornelli, così come la cultura musicale italiana impone, mentre la
seconda metà viene affidata a Vlastur, il quale stravolge e ri-arrangia i pezzi mescolando il suono
con atmosfere provenienti dalla Grecia, la porta fra oriente ed occidente.
I RasteR si sono formati nel 2000 e hanno collaborato con Madaski (Africa Unite, The Dub Sync),
Paolo Baldini (BR Stylers, Africa Unite, The Dub Sync), Riccardo Schippa (Frost), Neil Perch (Zion
Train), Marcello Coleman (Almamegretta), KG Man (Quartiere Coffee, Rezophonic). The Dub Club è
il loro settimo album in studio.
Vlastur ha iniziato il suo viaggio nella musica come bassista. Nel 2009 esce il suo primo disco,
“Interaxion dub”, che gli regala una visibilità internazionale. Ha collaborato con Gaudi, Irina
Mikhailova e ha realizzato remix per Bombay Dub Orchestra, Etnica.

Musician, singer, producer, Pablo RasteR is the founder of RasteR with whom he has produced 7 albums and has performed more than 700 concerts in Italy and in Europe.
He has been produced by Madaski (Africa Unite, Dub Sync) with whom he shared the stage on several occasions, he has collaborated with artists like Zion Train, Vlastur, Dziga, Ricc Frost, Kg Man and Kasia Malenda.
He has also produced 2 albums for DMA, the self-titled album by Dub Fighters and released dozens of remixes and dub for Italian and international artists.
He also plays as dubmaster for Marcello Coleman, performing in Italy and in Europe.

This mini EP is a present to the world for his 35th birthday.

His recording studio is located in Spoleto, Italy, a beautiful medioeval town rich of history and culture.

So Much Trouble In The World (2006)

The RasteR project was born in Umbria in 2000, with the aim to play original reggae music talking about the society, the culture, the lifestyle, the people.

The first album (“Lampeggianti blu”) was published in 2002, "Arrivi e Partenze” in 2005 and their third album “In Viaggio” in 2007, distributed by One Love label.

Very active on the live front, RasteR have performed in some of the most important festivals in Italy such as Arezzo Wave, Rototom Sunsplash, Bombay Summer Festival and Ephebia Festival, and in the main clubs of central Italy (Feedback, Rock Garden, The Garage, etc.).

In 2008, the group produced a new single ("Living in Babylon"), produced by Paolo Baldini (BR Stylers, Africa Unite), which pushes the group in national radios and audience.

Two years later comes “dubVOLUTION”, the fifth studio album (and first solo project of Mod3mski, who changes his name to Pablo). The thirteen tracks of this album are pure dub, mixed by a real master of dub music, Madaski (Africa Unite, The Dub Sync), and the band celebrates its ten years of activity with a live tour in Italy and in the rest of Europe, and an important tv and radio promotion.

In 2012 "The Tribe", sixth studio album is published, with two videoclips, "Verità per Aldo" and "Inside".
