Over the years, they have adapted our Christmas services based on evidence of what works to provide more intensive support to people experiencing the most extreme and isolating form of homelessness – those rough sleeping – to help them take the first steps out of homelessness.

Spiritual Reconstruction Engine is the debut album by Sydney-based experimental electronic artist Obelisk, releasing on Geometric Corruption on 18 December 2025.

Spiritual Reconstruction Engine is a personal, cathartic album born out of a long battle with chronic lung conditions. Recorded during the beginnings of a recovery arc, the album’s heavy, gory, biblical, frenetic sound palette acts as a mirror to circumstance. Bodily infused textural noise, heavy bass and sharp atmospherics give a heaving feel, contrasted against a strikingly heavenly and danceable tone throughout.

The blend of emotions in the album is disorienting, but it’s baked into the album’s DNA as a reflection of coming to enjoy moments of bliss & peace despite one's circumstances.

The album is full of fresh sound design born from various real-world settings, including surgical and medical sampling (including the artist's own medical monitoring devices), natural environments, and choir archives.
