When going into this, I wanted to make something that wasn't just some drums and a melody repeating. I thought "what better way to do that than to mix genres?". As soon as I implemented the tempo-shifts I knew that this was it. The beat turned out to become more of an experience than just a trap beat. Hopefully you'll feel the same way.
