DJ Emerson has cultivated a status as one of Germany‘s most respected and engaging techno DJs. He is known globally for his textured and layered synthe- tic sound that pulsates dancefloors. His humble beginnings in southern Germany, where he made breakbeat, eventually led to traveling to play in clubs from Ibiza to Tokyo, Miami, and everywhere in-between. Those travels have imprinted his stylistic approach and culminated in his latest album, „Repetitive Music 2“.
The past two years have profoundly affected those in creative avenues of life. It came as no exception for DJ Emerson, as he found himself at an impasse as he star- ted production of this album in 2019. Due to the high-octane nature of its sound, he felt at a loss for inspiration to create music made for dance floors when none were open. However, ingenuity sometimes comes when you least expect it, and he began to revisit some unfinished tracks. Due to the driving, fast-paced techno that currently captivates the techno scene, the sound he produced in the late 90s and 2000s resonates with what is being put out now. These were tracks that DJ Emer- son started on an Atari computer and logic, but now he could refine with modern technology.
The result is a rigorous, resounding and electrified sound. It has hypnotic bass- lines, infectious synths and groovy percussions. It is the perfect blend of base- ment dungeons pummeling bass drums with rip-roaring rhythms and shaking beats to get people on their feet. DJ Emerson has amalgamated his plethora of styles at his disposal to produce an artifact to be added to the tapestry of dance music.
„Repetitive Music 2“ is what dance music should be, an infectious piece of work where every track could set the club alight. There are tracks for peak time, builders, chuggers, and secret weapons.

Kevin S. aka Olorr developed his taste for fast and tribal-influenced music back in his home town of Graz. To pursue his passion further, his founded the local music group Tennis Lektüre to organize events and monthly podcasts from his like minded surroundings.

With a distinct view on music and a clear vision of his personal expression, his endeavors led him to create Wiener Gerüstbau when he moved to Austria’s capital eventually.

When fellow artists Specific Objects, Pech+Schwefel and Ehrenschwester hopped on board the match was made and a collective founded. The music platform, radio show, podcast series and upcoming label is focused mainly on highly effective old-school Techno cuts and its modern interpretation. In his performances you will realize a lot of diversity, from dirty broken beats until to the so called Schranz.

Kicking of our mixtape series with one of our co-founders and vinyl magician: Olle Hansa. 

His sound is defined by the late 90s, early 2000 soundastethetic and varies from different subgenres of techno. In this mix Olle Hansa finely selected some picks he found in a recordstore in Italy. In this installment, expect a pushy yet tribal sound. Using his knowledge of electronic music he enriches his mix with trance and house elements.

Known for his work under many aliases (Komatssu, Selección Natural) and for being one half of Exium, with his solo project TENSAL the artist explores a more instinctive approach to sound arising from a modern vision of techno.

Recorded entirely analogically, Forgiveness of Blood is the perfect demonstration of his vision; With an ambient intro to ease the listener into the experience, the EP moves through the raw and scratchy sounds that have always distinguished both KR3 and the artist himself.

The reference to the 12” dynamic and rough rhythms is also clear in the artwork curated by Chianjna.
