[BIO:]
Hekato is a young Polish artist who lives in Berlin, who is at the same time her home, inspiration and theater for realizing her own artistic dreams. It is impossible to list all her artistic activities, the most important of which are: electronic music, drawing, painting and tailoring. Her adventure with electronic music began a few years ago, when she was living in Poland. Mere participation in events and experiencing the emotions provided by electronic music became insufficient. Over time, her desire to create and build a sound based on her own expression of character made her constantly perfect her mixing skills. Her style and musical inspiration are the feelings and emotions she identifies with and which she has often experienced. The mix of groove, hypnotic sounds and sometimes industrial accents she serves is always a different, new experience that turns into an interesting story.

Lisa aka MAR lives in Berlin, where (despite her young age) she is already deeply rooted in the electronic music scene. She is not only co-founder of decompression event series, but also resident at ATARAXIA Berlin & artist at Not Human Collective (Aachen, GER) and has been standing behind the decks in clubs regularly for almost two years now. Musically influenced by groove, hypnotic and hardgroove, she serves high energy in each of her sets. In this special mix for the Yax Invites Podcast series she tried to combine her passion for different types of groove in techno, all delivering high energy without exception.

MILLI has always been captured and inspired by music, often considering it as the only form of personal expression.
Over the years she approaches various genres, passing from the 4/4 hip-hop music of the late 90s of the American east coast to electronic and rock, up to the most lyrical, introspective, romantic, and desolate strings of the English dark wave.
The fascination she has for brutalist, industrial, decadent and abandoned contexts lead her to approach the synthetic, dark, harsh, penetrating, raw, and strident sounds of techno music, capturing her soul.
The event that sparked off was when she first saw The Prodigy's music video No Good (Start The Dance), in 1997.
The exaltation and the sense of freedom that those people transmitted to her in the video, the lightness, the light-heartedness, the sense of aggregation that she managed to grasp, bewitch her to the point of deciding to want to be part of that world for the whole life.

Having moved to Rome from a small town in the province of Naples, she has the opportunity to enter this scenario, participating in some of the capital's underground events, such as the techno event of the organization Amigdala at the Ex Dogana, or the after-parties of the Neo and the After 300 at the former general warehouses.

Her sets are to be interpreted as emotional introspective journeys, with the aim of replacing words with music, accompanying the listener on own inner journey, and often this results in Dj sets that evolve rhythmically, combining dark and hypnotic sounds with raw and industrial sonorities.

Overview
Jeff Mills’ “The Bells” is one of the most iconic tracks in techno history, often called the genre’s anthem. Known for its hypnotic bell melody, driving kick, and euphoric build, it became a staple in DJ sets worldwide. The track was first played live by Mills in 1995 (e.g., at Liquid Room in Tokyo), but it wasn’t officially released until 1997 as part of the Kat Moda EP on his Purpose Maker label. This EP is the original record pressing you’re asking about—no standalone “The Bells” single exists from that era. It has since been repressed multiple times due to massive demand (over 500,000 copies sold across versions).

New Beat swagger meets EBM menace on the latest Kri release. New York based producer, DJ and Samo Records owner Facets channels the raw spirit of late ’80s New Beat and EBM into a modern club context with stripped-down rhythms and tense electronics lock.

Four original tracks are bolstered with two heavyweight remixes courtesy of Marcello Giordani, the Italo Deviance maestro, and the iron-fisted British techno icon Broken English Club / Oliver Ho.

Lathe cut vinyl and digital will be released on the 29th of October 2025.
