Den nionde april släpper vi vårt andra album, med titeln Drömmarnas Land. 
En skiva med enbart svenska texter, till skillnad från vår första platta som huvudsakligen var på engelska då den skrevs under turnéer utomlands. 
Denna skiva skrevs i en källarlokal i Göteborg. Mitt under supervalårets hetsiga slutspurt i september 2014. 
Musiken vill göra poesi av bristerna i ett system som är på kollisionskurs med sig självt. Av drömmarna som inte får plats och alla de drömmar som egentligen inte behövs. En elektro-akustisk frustration över en verklighet som är alltför lätt att sova sig igenom.

Shika Shika - the record label without borders or owners - celebrates its first physical format release with ALBURA, the new album of Barrio Lindo, available as a 12” limited edition and in digital format on April 6th.
ALBURA is a portrait of the last three years of touring through Latin America, USA and Europe, that inspired this new phase in the work of Agustín Rivaldo, producer, luthier, and co- founder of Shika Shika Collective.
With its 12 tracks, ALBURA invites the listener to go on a deep and fresh journey into the contemporary sound of Latin American music, accompanied by organic electronica. In the midst of cumbias, sambas, carnavales and folkloric melodies, this record includes collaborations with indispensable referents of the new wave of South American producers who have crossed paths with Barrio Lindo: Jhon Montoya, Ela Minus, Lulacruza, Clara Trucco a.k.a. Wende Wen (Fémina/Weste) y Carrot Green.
This album merges the two universes that coexist in Agustín Rivaldo: the role of producer and the role of a luthier dedicated to traditional South American instruments. In fact, the name ALBURA is a botanical nod to the youngest part of the wood of a tree, and where the most recent growth rings of the trunk are found, at the same time a vital part for luthiers.
During the production process, Rivaldo recorded with instruments that he made himself: charangos, guitars, quenas and marimbas, among others. On the songs Pura danza, Saudade and Intensidad mañanera he uses his own singing voice.

This EP is dedicated to the awakening of humanity and the remembrance of it's true origin as infinite, timeless cosmic beings with an indestructable core that have the power to create their own reality. According to the legends of Lemuria humans were once highly spiritually evolved beings that lived in harmony and peace with nature and each other. Lemuria was representative of great abundance, joy and wisdom and some people believe we still carry the memories of this ancient lifetime in our DNA and can access them in dreams and through meditation. Inspired by the legends of Lemuria and theirconnection to the current process of transformation and shifting that is happening on the planet right now Arilu has created a hypnotic and deep meditative journey that transcends time and space. Beautiful dreamy synth-pads, lush and spacy ambient soundscapes encompassed by warm harmonies and sweet melodies create an almost extraterrestrial feel and invite the listener to go on a magical inward journey to expand the awareness and delve into the connection with the higher self. 

In addition to the 3 original tracks we invited Mente Orgánica and Landhouse - who are both part of the NUMA-Family since the very beginning – to rework their favourite track.

"Macumba" is an EP inspired by the magic that connects the culture of tropical ancestors (Africa-America). The sounds were born thanks to the forbidden knowledge revealed through magic, dances and drums created by so many cultures that come to life by the geography they inhabit.
