Italian duo Hard Ton are a flamboyant synthesis of acid house, disco-diva vocals, and queer performance art. “Blame It On The E” is a previously-unreleased acid and piano-driven gem from Hard Ton’s back catalog. Originally incorporated into a DJ mix by Dimitri From Paris, “Blame It On The E” is seeing official release for the first time with an EP on Friends With Benefits Records. The release includes new remixes of the title track from Berlin-based Juan Ramos (Cocktail d’Amore, ESP Institute) and FWB label head the Prey (formerly known as David Sylvester). The EP also includes a special bonus track: the previously-unreleased Matrixxman dub of “We Got Luv.”

Central American born Silent Servant has performed worldwide in clubs from LA, Berlin to Osaka. A chance meeting with Karl O'Conner in 1999 would establish a friendship that would open the door to the Sandwell District label in 2006. Silent Servant's sound is a reinterpretation of early '80s post-punk electronics, paired with the deep, metallic sounds of Basic Channel and Downwards.
