Fueled by his Afro-Latin heritage, Rauli V’s compositions collide Punx Chaos with Latin Culture. He was born in NYC and his journey with music began in Santo Domingo which now continues on in Maryland, specifically PG County. Live, he is known for his disruptive stage presence and infectious passion.

As a kid, Rauli turned to music as an escape from labels that still infest the country till this day. For him music doesn’t care where you are from… it only cares to connect you with others who feel the same as you. He then started playing and jumped in to the punk scene that was growing in DR. Dominicans have been huge influencers in Global music and the pioneers of genres such as Bachata, Merengue, Mambo, Palos and Dembow. Rauli is driven to let the world know that Dominican’s can head bang too while he exposes us to the scene that is still roaring back on his island.
