Up next, Toolroom welcome LA based DJ and producer Noizu to the label, debuting with his remix of Mark Knight, Green Velvet and Rene Amesz – ‘Live Stream’. One of the most in-demand DJs right now, after scoring critical acclaim with his nostalgic Piano House banger ‘Summer 91 (Looking Back)’, which saw huge success for the artist back in 2020, catapulting Noizu to the very top of festival bills and tours around the world. Along with a series of releases on Black Book, Insomniac, Process Records and his own Techne imprint, Noizu has firmly planted himself as one of the most exciting acts in dance music today and his remix of ‘Live Stream’ is testament to that.

Diving deep and pulling up a Toolroom classic from the 2016 archives, Noizu delivers a powerful rendition of ‘Live Stream’, ramping up the energy of the original to a whole new level, cutting it fresh for dance floors in 2023.

Focusing on the key elements which made Mark Knight, Green Velvet and Rene Amesz original collaboration so compelling, with Noizu’s keen ear for music production and dance floor knowledge, tied together by Green Velvet’s trademark lyrical genius makes his remix of ‘Live Stream’ a serious contender for record of the year. Landing back on the firm during our 20th Birthday celebrations is none other than Danny Howard, who returns to the label with a beefed up edit of a Toolroom classic – ‘Hear What They Hear’ by Adrian Hour. A secret weapon for DJs worldwide, released back in 2016 on Adrian Hour’s ‘Like This’ EP, this B Side became an unlikely hero that still gets hammered today by the likes of John Summit and Eats Everything. As any fan of Toolroom would know, Adrian Hour is a legendary part of the firm who embodies the true underground spirit that the label prides itself on.

Danny Howard himself is a DJ and producer who needs no introduction, radio personality for BBC Radio 1’s Dance Party, label head of Nothing Else Matters and Ibiza resident, Danny Howard has gone from strength to strength throughout his career. With a string of hits from Sonny Fodera’s Solotoko imprint, Ministry of Sound and of course Toolroom to name a few, Danny Howard returns with a solid edit of ‘Hear What They Say’. After doing the rounds at Glastonbury festival this year and beyond, Danny's update has turned one record with a solid dance floor reputation into a certified slammer!

If you’re into underground tech house and techno, then you should no doubt be familiar with the works of Raumakustik. The German duo were responsible for the underground summer anthem ‘‪#‎Raider‬’ that landed on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations label last year, which went on to be THE biggest track of 2015. The pair now return with their follow-up single ‘Logic’, and it lands on Toolroom Records in June.

With a healthy dose of bump and chunk this one nods its head to the underground as it does equally to the accessible dance floors in true Toolroom style. When you pair this track up with the unmistakable vocals, having received nod of approval from the dance music titans themselves - Daft Punk - we are confident that this one will be rather large for the upcoming Ibiza season.
