Bout 4 years ago I quietly posted a mix called ‘burn the manual’.  The intention was to make a mix filled with a variety of genres/sounds…a ‘grab a record and just mix’ kind of deal, from the bins that contained music I wasn’t mainly pushing in the clubs at the time.  It turned out to be some higher energy ravey, warehouse vibes - a mix that went against the grain - against the grain of my position as a DJ in the local scene at the time.  I think a part of it was me subconsciously getting a feeling of being imprisoned and ‘boxed in’ a certain style so I compiled something ‘different’ than expected.  Fast forward to today and I couldn’t be happier to play whatever I want, whenever I want. 

With that being said, I made a part 2!

I had a great time playing my first gig for Kompression boys in New Orleans back in July 2016.  Kompression is one of the special gems of underground sounds in America and i am happy to have the privilege to play there and look forward to return in 2017.
