In my DJ sets I love exploring different genres of electronic music which is something you can hear whenever I play out. I wanted to take a step back with this mix and RETURN to my dance roots, where this all started for me..... HOUSE music. This mix is also dedicated to one of my heroes and DC house legends that passed away right before the pandemic Sam “The Man” Burns. Whenever I play house music I think of him. He had a residency at a legendary DC club called “18 St Lounge” every Sunday where he would literally take you on a house journey. Bringing generations together and sweating out the night, Sam had a way of hooking you in and leaving you speechless through his House sets. This mix is an offering to him, a continuation of my gratitude.
